Rigid Vs. Flexible Liners

Chimney liners are either constructed of rigid pipe lengths or flexible coil lengths. 

Installations that require more angled routing, or turns, will benefit from the use of flexible liners due to the increased pliability in their construction. 

In instances where the chimney is being relined in a straight vertical run from either an insert style fireplace, or an appliance that  is in-set in the wall,  rigid liners are often preferred.

In all cases, be sure to reference local building codes and safety guidelines prior to installation.
