What happens when you want to put the umbrella down when this heater is attached to the underside of the umbrella...does it fold with the umbrella and would rain affect it if was connected to umbrella and it rained.

A. The Dimplex PUH1500 is designed to fold with the umbrella and to automatically shut off when folded. It also has a weatherproof design allowing for year-round use.
