Heatfab is the industry leader in producing Special Gas Vent pipe(commonly called AL29-4C because of the grade stainless steel this special type of piping is constructed from). Special Gas Vent is primarily used on tankless water heaters, such as those offered by Rheem, Takagi, GE and more. Special Gas Vent piping is also commonly used on gas boilers and steam generators. These “condensing” appliances are extremely corrosive and only a special type of piping system (Special Gas Vent!) is designed to withstand the corrosive properties of these appliances.
