How do you install this wall thimble?
A. The Metalbest 6T-IWT wall thimble comes with two face plates and two shields (the shields being the part that goes through the wall itself). To install it, first you take one face plate and one shield on the first side of the wall. You will insert the shield through the specified hole in the wall it is to go through. Then you attach the faceplate to it and this will rest against the wall. You will nail or screw it to the wall directly through pre-drilled holes. Then you go to the other side of the wall with the other faceplate and shield. Insert this shield as well (as the shields are slightly different sizes so they overlap perfectly) and attach the second faceplate in the same way as the first. The shields are able to go through walls between 6 and 11" in thickness.
