6" x 48" Class A Chimney Pipe Length from Ultra-Temp

Pipe lengths provide the core part of the chimney system. Pipes should match the inside diameter of all other pieces and all pieces should be from the same manufacturer.

Ultra-Temp is designed for all-fuel applications and comes with 430 stainless steel outer casing. Ultra-Temp chimney pipe is insulated with 1" solid pack and UL Listed to UL-103 HT standards. These parts feature an advanced engineering design, offering 300 Series stainless steel inner pipe and 1-inch Mineral Wool Fibre insulation.

What is the clearance to combustible materials?

The Metalbest 6UT-48 requires a 2" clearance to combustibles.

Is the 6" the inner diameter or the outer diameter? Maybe a better way to ask the question is: What is the inner and our diameter of this chimney pipe?

The Metalbest 6UT-48 has a 6" inner diameter. All venting pipe is measured by inner diameter to try and eliminate confusion.

Does this pipe stay cool on the outside?

The Metalbest 6UT-48 will not be cool to the touch as it is only a double wall pipe. If you would like it cool to the touch I recommend triple wall.

is this pipe an all fuel product

The Metalbest 6UT-48 will work for wood, oil, coal and gas. It isn't suited for a pellet stove however.
