Product Details for the Metalbest 8T-CT

8" Class A Chimney Pipe Round Top from Sure-Temp

Part of the chimney system roof assembly, the Round Top is designed with a dome to exclude rain and leaves and a lower skirt to deflect wind for proper chimney draft. The Round Top is designed with three legs that slide down over the outside of the chimney. A cinch band is then positioned over the legs and tightened to hold the top firmly in place. This design makes cap removal for cleaning a breeze.

The Sure-Temp Chimney System is designed to meet the needs of today’s high-efficiency Wood Stoves and other appliances burning wood, oil or gas. Components may be combined in a wide variety of ways to solve almost any chimney installation requirement.

how tall is the 8T-CT

is a spark arrestor available for this top, if so how big are the holes in the mesh

The Metalbest 8T-CT is compatible with Metalbest 8T-SA, the Sure-Temp 8" Class A Chimney Pip Spark Arrestor.

Will it fit over a triple wall insulated pipe?

The Metalbest 8T-CT is designed to fit over Metalbest 8" double wall pipe, and Metalbest does not make a triple wall pipe. This may fit over a 10" OD triple wall pipe; however it is not designed for that and will void the warranty.

Will this cap work on the old metalbestos 8" chimney with 10" OD?

The Metalbest 8T-CT should still work with you pipe as along as it is double wall and the inner diameter.
